Candi Walz is responsible for Let’s Talk Kids™ business. Candi has been a news editor/writer and a legislative correspondent, reporting on state capitol news. She has written for nearly 20 publications that use Associated Press writing styles. Candi also enjoys working with children, has taught swimming lessons for 12 years, directs her church youth group, managed a church nursery and babysat for many years.
Cinnamin Theisen is a content writer and has worked in childcare since she was 15 years old. She earned her B.A. degree in early childhood at Moorhead State University. After graduating, Cinnamin worked in the Fridley Early Childhood Center for 4 years and currently works for the Cambridge-Isanti school district as an early childhood teacher for children, ages birth to five. Her additional experience includes working at daycares, the latchkey program, community education, lifeguarding, teaching swimming lessons, babysitting and teaching Sunday School. She has two children.
Wendy Walz was named the 2009 Community Educator of the Year. She has been working in the Early Childhood field for 25 years. She currently works as the Early Childhood Programs Coordinator in Litchfield. She regularly meets with the parent advisory council, teaches kids birth-five, organizes literacy events, and plans community activities for families. Prior to earning her teaching degree, she helped start a local childcare center, worked in childcare and has taught Sunday School for many years. Wendy holds a degree in elementary school teaching and an Advanced Degree in Parent Education and Early Childhood Education. She is an active volunteer in her community and is the mom of Cinnamin and Candi.
